 | David Bomberg (1890 – 1957) BiographyBomberg was born in Birmingham, England but grew up in Whitechapel in the East End of London and studied art at the City and Guilds, Bomberg where he trained as a lithographer. Amongst his travels, he took a trip to France where he met both Picasso and Modigliani. During the 1910’s David Bombergs artwork used complex geometric compositions, with limited but striking colours, but later became more representational with proclivities towards expressionism.
